In 1997 Godsmack did a benefit show at my middle school for a kid there who was a hit n run victim on his birthday. They were still just a local band and played with some really shitty cover band and some other originals band.

Black Sabbath 1983.Nazereth opened.Full scale riot broke out after the show.It was a fuckin' blast.

My first concert was a God Dethroned/Zyklon/Morbid Angel/Deicide show. It was unbelievable. I've been to so many amazing shows.

Default First Show Experience
My parents were quite lame, so growing up I was never allowed to shows, I actually had chances to see both Sublime and the Butthole Surfers, and wasn't allowed to go, and then Kowell died, bastards.

Eventually I grew up along with a pair a balls and made my own decisions. Saw Sunset Rubdown when my friends band opened for them, which according to them is the first REAL show I'd ever been to. Apparently your friends bands don't count.

First show was Ozzy on the Diary of A Madman Tour. It was shortly after Randy Rhoads died and Brad Gillis of Night Ranger filled in (poorly).
