Slash is a great guitarist, but I don't like G&R either. But I met Slash once and he is an awesome dude. A real gentleman.

when I was working the door at a Greenwich village nightclub, I didn't let him in because he was eating pizza. i told him no food allowed and he just got all sad and walked away. All these girls ran up to me and said, do you know who that was? And I said, yeah a freak in a stupid hat eating pizza. I had no idea who he was. And they were like that was Slash, and I was like yeah, so, he was eating pizza. No food allowed. An hour later he came back and apologized to me, and told me I was right not to let him in. I bought him a drink and we chatted for a while. He was extremely articulate and really down to earth. I really like that guy. A true gentleman.

I believe the standards over here may be less than in the US. In some places KFC is actually tasty, used to eat it a lot. In this town it sux ass.
