Shit Bob. I called Ramsay a cunt because he's a cunt, I did not call everyone who works in the food preparation industry cunts. If you honestly thought I did, you've got some personal insecurity issues you need to get checked. No, that clip didn't show a working day in a real kitchen, but I know 2 people that have worked under him, and from what I've heard, what you see is what you get.

Nope, no insecurity here. In my experience, no one that ever worked under anyone has good things to say about them. But I digress. I'm over it. It was a rough day in the kitchen...I hate produce delivery men.

For what it's worth, more power to anyone that can keep their cool in a busy kitchen. I'd go completely postal on a busy saturday night and there's always FAR too many razor-sharp knives lying around

That's your answer. If you read between the lines, he actually comes off as a compassionate man to me. It's TV. I think that jerk on the other show is 10 times the dick that Ramsay is. I do think it is funny how some chefs get huge egos. OK so you are a good chef, but it's not brain surgery.

i dont know, i can understand it. some chefs are treated like superstars....winning awards, tv appearances, book deals, accolades, michelin stars, etc. seems like it would be hard not to get an ego with a gig like that.

yes like people in Hollywood. People tell them they are great and their egos grow. Don't get me wrong, being a great chef is a talent and worthy of praise. Something like, wow this is delicious, thanks.
