I hated it back then, but that's where all the girls were. I got thrown out of a disco once for showing up in a Kiss t-shirt.
Now I love those old songs. Some actually were very good musically. The bass player in Chic was awesome. Some old disco had really good horn arrangements too.

Around 2000, I worked the door at a place called Polly-Esthers for a year. It was a 70's bar and I had to listen to disco from 7pm until 4am 5-6 nights a week. But it was a blast.

I didn't know the guy on the left very well, if that's who you are talking about. The tall girl is Maureen Kilroy. I was so in love with her. She was a goddess.
