I'd imagine that Dana quickly realized that it's pulling shit like this that gets Unions to start springing up a little quicker and that's another mess he'd have to deal with. Of course he'll spin this like he was teaching Fitch a lesson but good for Fitch standing up for his shit.

I'm pretty sure Dana & the UFC won at the end of the day. They got Fitch back, they got him to sign his rights away, and they proved that no one untouchable.

he lost the first and gassed badly and had a very hard time getting him to the ground even though daley is one of the worst ground fighters in the dvision(he also has the best stand up fighter in the division but his wrestling and jiu jitsu is horrendous)

I just watched it again. He had Daley mounted in less than 2 mins of the first round. How are you going to tell me that a guy wins a round when he spends 3 of 5 mins laying on his back mounted? Then two minutes into the 2nd Shields took him down, mounted him, pounded on him, them arm barred him. Shields lost the standup portion, but he dominated that fight.

well, fuck. he still gassed so i'll stick with that for now. and didnt semtex reverse him and pound on him near the end of the first? i could be wrong but i'm pretty sure he did. and like i said earlier the guy has terrible jiu jitsu so if that happened it's pretty bad. but i stand corrected, i had it stuck in my mind that daley won the first but i havent watched that fight since it aired live so i'll take your word for it

At some point there will be a union to handle grievences like this. Dana's brash style needs to be toned down and thats part of the reason Lorenzo left station casinos (that and its going out of buisness once their debts are called)
