Just watched Paranormal Activity and I have a love hate relationship with the movie and if you've seen it you probably know why. Pros - I thought the actors did a good job drawing you into the film Cons - I won't mention because I don't want to ruin it for anybody....

It did the trick for the group on Halloween. Very likable actors.
Definitely not 'great', and really only a few true scares, but good build up. With all the reality tv/documentary stuff out there, it was funny to see the teenagers in the bunch suspend disbelief so easily and buy into the documentary aspect of it.

Sick as fuck, usually not too much a fan of the 'documentary' type movies but this was good.

Yeah, don't bother. In fact the final climactic scene is extremely reminiscent of the ending of Heat, including the slowly flashing bright light. Hmmm.

loved it. the "twist" wasnt what i was expecting, so it made the 2nd half of the film even better.
