Mother in law is here for the weekend. Wife says she told me and I forgot. That would be like "Oh, I'm sure I told you the tumor was malignant . . . but you forgot." I have learned two things - 1) to a mother in law, a son in law is nothing but a spent penis whose job is done and who now represents, at best, an obstacle to how she, and to some extent her daughter, are going to raise this baby; and 2) I type pretty well when I'm 3/4 drunk.

I think to a single guy, if a checker doesn't wipe off her hand after giving him his change he's going to think she wants to fuck him. No matter what you do if you're calling him the break up is going to be reduced in his mind to a fight, and he's going to be thinking that as soon as all of this unpleasantness is over you'll be back. A pretty fundamental rule (as I think is evidenced on DSF whenever a woman posts) is that if you're a guy, you pretty much want to fuck every woman around you, and the women who think that they can be ONLY friends and that sex never enters the guy's mind are just fooling themselves. Multiply that by ten if it's someone you've been in a relationship with. Also, in this case, consider a basic parenthood rule- if you reward a behavior then the behavior will continue, meaning that if he is able to keep you on a string with his drama, then he will continue to expose you to his drama. You're not responsible for this guy or his mental health, and the sooner you cut the cord completely, the sooner a) you're back to living your life and b) the sooner he's either forced to take responsibility for himself and his own happiness or find some other woman to carry his water for him.
