my aunt called and said they put my mamaw back in the hospital today. just got off the phone with her. she sounds good and said she feels good, just a flare up of her diverticulitis. i'm trying not to worry but i'm not very good at that sort of thing.

I wasnt "raised" in church but i feel like i spent enough time there. I was sent to live with my dad and stepmom for a couple years when i was a teen and the stepmom was a born again christian. She made us go to church both services on Sundays, Wed night service, and made me go to youth group on Fridays.... EVERY week. That's 4 services if you weren't counting. Then she would pray at night and speak "in tongues" and shit.... she'd be screaming in that weird language with tears pouring down her face. I could never have any friends over bcuz she'd either pray and freak them out or she'd try to get them to come to our church.

I fucking hated that bitch.... and that crazy religion.


Oh snap -- *EDIT -- i forgot to mention this: The pastor would always scold the boys in the church about the correct way to hug a woman... i guess the way we did it was to "touchy"... anyways about 5 years later he was found out to have had an affair with one of the women in the church choir while he was married. Then it came out that he was molesting some of the younger church girls. He lost everything and went to jail. (my dad relayed this info to me long after i had moved out) I guess the pastor was scolding the boys bcuz deep down he really wanted to be the one hugging the young girls in church

*EDIT2 -- We lived in a little shit town outside of Seattle with nothing but white trash and they were all dumb as rocks. They would do anything the pastor asked without questioning anything... i remember always looking around and literally thinking "don't these people realize he's fucking lying to them!". Some people are just too dumb...

I'll never forget an ENTIRE service where the pastor talked about money and blessings. He said (and i quote bcuz i remember like it was yesterday) "God wants us all to have nice things. It's ok to have nice things. If a doctor or a lawyer can have a mercedes doing an honest days work then why shouldnt a man of God be blessed as well?"

Those hick bastards never even questioned anything that child molester said...

How does that statement not sound wrong on like 5 different levels??
