I definitely thought about that, but fact is I got my first undergrad degree in 7 1/2 years. It was only a Communications degree. It had nothing to do with the fact I wanted to learn anything and everything to do wit hthe fact that I hated all my core classes because they meant nothing to me and I kept failing/skipping/dropping them. I finished up my major in 2 1/2 years and had a B average. The rest of my classes took 5 1/2 years or so and I had like 2.1GPA in it. If it's no something that interests me, I really could give a shit. The only other thin that interests me is graphic design, web design, and photography. I do need to take some core art classes first, and I won't get into the graphic design chunk until Fall 2011, but once I do it will go by quick. Definitely a lot more classes that I had thought, but it will be a well rounded experience. They say it's a 4 year plan, but their planner has me taking 15-18 hour course loads because it's set up for incoming freshman. I've already completed 15 of the 43 required classes, so I'm in pretty good shape. I think I can finish up in 3 years tops.

I hear ya. I'm already anticipating Web Design and Development to be my niche. I enjoy doing it immensely already, and have for the last 14 years, but knowing all this extra info and actually being able to provide quality looking sites I made myself instead of taking from somewhere else will probably only increase my productivity and passion for it.

I do that almost every day. StumbleUpon is my very bestest friend. I usually set it up to view only graphics, photography, and art. I stay well versed on design trends, and have for years regardless of trying to get involved in it. I'm overtly fascinated by it all

I can definitely see that, which is why I'm hoping to get my own thing going. If push comes to shove, I'll swallow my pride and work for an agency. Gotta make money some how.

I like the idea, but not sure what exactly would be posted in there? Like... just quality videos we see or something like that? Or tutorials/links to production items? Equipment photos, etc? Actually that sounds kind of cool.

If I have any questions I will definitely hit you up. I already knew you had a wealth of knowledge in the area. If I'm being honest I kind of posted that whole thought with the hopes you'd respond with some sage like advice and encouragement, lol. I appreciate it.

Oh yeah, I figured as much. That won't be an issue. Like I said before, I keep up to date on all that stuff
