I took a half day to go see the doctor finally about this gout bullshit and thought I was going to get the power/water and internet put in my name at my sister's old place, but I still have no fucking checks or checkcard from my bank, so the money I put in the new checking account is locked up tight and I'm down to $70. Fuck me running.

Did you get any meds for the gout? I forgot what it was called but there is a drug that can absorb some of the uric acid. I heard it was only moderately effective but it is worth a try. Gout is exacerbated by dehydration. The more hydrated you are the more diluted the uric acid is. Did you know reptiles get gout too? Especially lizards.

I haven't got any meds and this is a new doctor because I moved right before the gout started. I know all about the meds, I've had Colchicine (which is also used to stop plant cell mitosis), Allopurinol, and Indocin (also for arthritis, which gout is classified as sometimes). I also know about hydration, believe me. No one gets out of Parris Island and doesn't know about hydration. I generally drink about 120 oz of water a day in addition to my Coke Zero or Kool Aid (Sugar Free). My foot isn't as swollen or painful now as it has been but it's still painful when I move my big toe and I'm concerned about the possible formation of Tophi.

(Did I mention I was a biology/microbiology major in college before dropping out to focus on computers and being a manservant to bitchwife #2?)
