Obviously, I need to be more sussinct with my insults with you. I may go back to simply calling you a cunt, it appears that you understand that. Let me spell out why I asked if your family was deaf. You drone on about everything. I can only imagine how you respond when you wife asks how your day is or when your son asks why is the sky blue. Based on what you are willing to type, one could extrapolate (look it up if you don't know what that means food delivery boy) that you drone on for hours from a simple question. Oh good god. This coming from someone who started the 'Review of the week' stuff and flooded every available thread with 'Stantz is a Cunt' - the technological equivilant of scrawling on toilet walls with biro.

Look, to save redirecting to the 'introduce yourself' thread (again), I don't deliberatley have a smug attitude, and I apologise to you, Feets, bob wehadadonkeyandcalleditBoris and anyone else that misconstrue (look it up) my comments as such. I know what you meant in your previous post, I just decided to take a tiny portion of it out of context and concentrate on that - which seems to be the norm.

When my wife asks what kind of day I had, I normally answer 'shit' or 'not bad'. If my son was to ask me why the sky was blue, I'd honestly have to look it up with him, because right now, I don't have a fucking clue, but give me 5 minutes on google, and i'll have a coherent answer for both him and you.

The thing with chatting on forums, which I've done since I got my beloved and much missed Dreamcast over a decade ago, is that when you have an online conversation, you can take your time before hitting submit. You can check your sources and make sure what you're typing isn't some knee-jerk, uninformed sensationalist bullshit that's already been spread and forwarded by every uninformed grandmother and one-hour-on-the-internet-every-sunday father in law. Merely spouting gossip as truth is one of the most fucking annoying things I've encountered since getting online, this is why I frequent Snopes, looking shit up and stopping facebook friends from forming lynch mobs.

2 weeks ago, I got a frantic phone call from my father in law, begging me to make sure I didn't give any food to my children that contained aspartame. I had no fucking clue as to what he was talking about, but it turned out he got an email from his sister that told him that the artificial sweetner was to blame from everything from hair loss to brain cancer. Checking snopes not only told me it was bullshit, but also allowed me to allay HIS fears, and to stop him spreading the 13 year old lie, which he regarded as truth.

I have never, nor will I ever claim to have superior intelligence. There's a world of difference between intelligence and knowledge. If I know something you don't, that doesn't make me any smarter than you, and if you actually think that, then you've got some confidence issues, bud.

I'll wager you know a fuckload more than me about shit I've never even heard of.
