lakecityquietpills isn't working for me again. It's gotta be a locale thing. I even tried remoted through a few clients, so I know it's not my home network or area subnet. Guess I'll go back to being a loser and wasting my life away on world of warcraft.

So fucking tired of computer problems. New PC running (for whatever reason my tech guy explained in techese) both XP and Windows 7 on main PC and two virtual machines. New modem and router downstairs. Still have been online only sporadically today, roughly 4 out of 10 hours. He'll eventually get tired of me texting him and fix the problem, but until then, every single glitch he gets a text. As much as I find email annoying, it's even more annoying when it's not there.

Yeah, sort of. He's on contract, but it's only a flat fee for a certain number of hours, and then over that it's hourly. I don't know where we are on the hour count now. In the past he's been pretty good, and even tossed in hours for free if it's something he had to research that he could use in the future. I think what it boils down to is that running three machines, one Windows 7 as the main machine, then two virtual PCs running XP (one we needed XP to interface with our office management software and the other I think he set up because he knows my surfing habits and wants me to surf in that virtual PC so if I catch something nasty he can wipe that PC without affecting my productivity, such as it is since I started hanging out on DSF. All I know is that it'd be nice to actually be able to predict some degree of certainty that when I sit down I'm going to be able to get email or get online.

My office is still having problems. Every Monday no one, besides me, has email. The IT Butch Lesbo doesn't get to our office until 12noon-1pm and works at it until 8pm (What I'm told cause I leave at noon) getting paid $85/hr.
