I totally almost got into a fight with a black girl on saturday night haha...
i dont remember much but the convo went something like this
we were talking about skiing and she asked me where i grew up and i said "Seattle, baby!" ... just being stupid and not meaning anything by it.
(here's how the rest of it went as i remember it happening)
Her: Don't call me baby.
Me: What?
Her: I said i don't like to be called baby.
Me: Did i call you baby?
Her: Yeah, you said "Seattle baby"
Me: Oh, i didnt even realize it... i didnt mean anything by it. It's like a douchy expression.
Her: Well i don't like it.
Me: wow, you're serious?
Her: um.. yes. Don't take it so personal.
Me: I'm not the one who's taking it personally.
Her: but you are
Me: you're the one who got offended by a word that wasn't even meant to offend you.
Her: i just dont like being called baby.
At this point she was being a bitch (the DSF women will probly be mad at me for saying this, haha) so figured i'd just try and piss her off some more... which didnt work
Me: So i guess you're just another angry black chick.
Her: i am... sometimes.
Now, i literally didn't say another word and got up and walked away because i wasnt having any fun talking to her and pissing her off more would just be stupid so i went to go find my friends...
i just don't understand how people get to the point where a common word can trigger some emotion that makes them so bitchy... i would totally understand if it came out in a sleezy way or if i said soemthing really offensive like "cunt" or (god forbid) the "N" word.... what i said was the equivalent of saying "dude" in my opinion.
I dunno....
EDIT - I should clarify that i am really into hot black chicks so i wasn't being racist. Thing is, i have never really found a black chick that was into me
