nah, the choctaws were smart enough to invest the time and money to put there own people through college and law school then take the govt to court and make them own to the provisions they argeed to in the treaties they had signed with us when we relocated to Oklahoma from Mississippi, sadly only about 4 trubes got really good treaties cause we gave up and said "get fucking real, there are to many fucking whites to win a war." (should have killed whitey when they first set foot on shore) other tribes that fought the white man navajo, apache, sioux and other signed treaties of surrender, so they got stuck on reservations in deserts and treated like prisoners of war. the Choctaws would have a better treaty today except we sided with the south during the civil war. (nice job dipshits!) so we lost a lot of agreements we first had with federal govt' we had the first time around!
the 5 tribes of Oklahoma are the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Creek and Seminole* (seminole yeah right)

First and second quarter of my first year of law school my Property teacher, who was very big on indigenous rights - Indian rights, Hawaiian repatriation, etc.- basically taught the class as an Indian law class. We looked at dozens of early property disputes with the Indians and what was either comical or tragic was the fact that they ALL had the same result, but the reasoning the various courts used to arrive at that result was all over the map, ranging from Greek and Roman laws and traditions to the Magna Carta to English common law. The result? Ultimately it boiled down to "we took it and we're not giving it back . . ." At one point I think he cited an estimate of how many treaties with Indians the government had completely honored, and that figure was . . . 0%.
