It's cool that you don't worry about the belt. It seems like a lot of people are into it like it proves something. I will probably never seriously train and I have very little interest in training with a gi so I'm pretty sure I'll be a no belt forever.

Actually, with the popularity of MMA and BJJ now, a lot of academies actually promote students in no gi. You probably won't get that at Relson's, but there are a lot of academies that are doing it now.

I should have given you more credit, my bad. I get so used to TUF noobs saying crazy shit that I didn't even think twice. In reality, you're pretty damn knowledgeable about shit and I should have given you more credit.

Yeah, Jon Fitch comes to mind. I doubt he trains gi at all and he just got a black belt.

He just got a black belt in "Guerilla Jiu Jitsu" under Dave Camarillo. It's supposedly a hybrid form of bjj and judo. Camarillo is a bjj black belt under Ralph Gracie.

Tough upbringing, but I have a hard time rooting against the Barra guys. And you're right, Florian is going to violate him.
