We imported some a couple of years ago, hoping it would make us seem cool. It didn't.

It's definitely a different kind of drunk though.

Went to an Absinthe bar in Prague and had some amazing (though expensive) absinthe.

My buddy brought some back from Amsterdam after spending a year abroad. We drank it the way described by Pendragon (pouring over the spoon and then lighting the sugar on fire). Not the biggest anise/black licorice fan to begin with but I was able to drink it. Never got the halucinations or anything, but definitely got hammered. I'd probably do it again if the right opportunity presented itself.

Friend bought me a bottle for my birthday. Hated the taste, enjoyed the feeling.

Managed to get a bottle in the airport in Madrid last summer, i doubt it was the real deal but it definitely did the job.
