fyi, i wasn't taking that stuff to lose weight. i was taking it to suppress my appetite so i wouldn't want crap out of the vending machine for the 6 weeks prior to my vacation. i was taking creatine at the same time and eating lots of protein to maintain weight.

and yes, i exercise all the time. you're right that there aren't any short cuts.
