Twitter started to get overloaded with the influx of new users. All the constant tweeting overloaded their servers. Their solution? People will only receive tweets that are "general tweets" or tweets that are directed at them. Example: if you follow Jesus you will only see tweets that have no "@" sign or that say @MEGADOUCHE. If he tweets @JoeRogan you will not see it unless you go to Jesus' profile EVEN IF you follow Jesus. This cuts down on the amount of info their servers have to send out. There is a workaround though. If you start your tweet with anything besides the "@" sign, everone will see it. Example: Code:
