Bumping old threads in the music download section

So, for the past few days I have been filling up the old music collection thanks to all of the contributors here at DSF.

My question is this: what are the unwritten rules of the forum? I hate taking without thanking, but I also don't want to annoy if I bump threads from 3-6 months ago just to say thanks.

So, what say you?

i love it when people bump threads, epseically if it's a lesser known band or artist, that way it gets front page representation and more people see it and download it and spread the musicians good will
