Is this a good deal?
I know a lot of you are experts int he file uploading and downloading world and I am needing to venture into that as time goes on! My question simply is this? I came across this one site and saw that they were offering a lifetime membership for $49.95 and was wondering if what they were offering and the capacity is worth going after????
Let me know your thoughts
How does this price compare to Rapidshare or Megaupload or any of the other share sites???
Your info is greatly appreciated!

Rshit and Megaupload are both about $10US/month and both offer a free month for every 10K downloads give or take. Both have a free option but Mega's makes Rshit's go and hide.

I'd be concerned about their lifespan. A 'lifetime' membership is only as good as the company's life. RS & Mega have been here a while.
Also, what do the real world speeds look like right now? 'unlimited' is what they all claim, but down speeds on RS for me is often <150 KB/sec, while MU is >1.2 MB/sec.
MU is $200 lifetime. Don't think RS has the option, and is $54/yr. (all without d/l bonuses counted in).

Carbonite is the bomb. I use it for the workpuder I have setup at home. I use it more for insurance against volume or box failure rather than storage. It is not sufficient for my music library.
