The odds of something terrible happening to you because you're sharing your privacy information is slim considering there will be tens of millions of people doing it.
It's the principle behind the fact that Apple is exploiting your privacy for their own benefit and basically forcing you into their line of thinking by holding the apps for ransom that makes them the biggest assholes on the planet.
