My parents took me to see if for my 7th birthday. That was two months after it came out and I remember the place was packed, but I do not remember waiting on a long line. A few months later it made it to my local 99cent theatre and me and my friends saw it close to 60 times.
When Empire came out I remember waiting on a very long line to see it.
