I'm embarrassed to say this is the first Dean Koontz I've ever read. It's definitely better in the second half, I had to force myself through the first part as Koontz tends to ramble on about things insignificant to the storyline.



I'm in the third chapter now and this is my gf's recommendation. I was an Aerosmith fan until they started just putting out ballads so I said "Why not?". This man is deeply eccentric and hard to follow. Although some parts so far are entertaining I'm struggling through it. Steven Tyler definitely proves that cocaine is a helluva drug.
