Officially, 88% of first time Microsoft testers (not counting the Office tests) fail. That's why most are offered a free retake. Heck, I failed my first one but that was way back in 92.

Don't sweat it. Honestly, the main reason people fail is because they don't pay attention to HOW the problems are worded. It's not that they don't know the stuff, it's that they think they know what the answer vs. what MICROSOFT thinks the answer is.
