I have a feeling this show is going to tank.

yep definitely going to tank if it doesn't become a "justice league" that was a project in being for ten years then it looks like it will be a "dark angel"- pretty lead that can't act and heaps of money but no story or a "man of steel" trying to take itself too seriously.
They need to look at the old batman and superman tv series to learn how it's done. a bit camp with holes in the plot that you could drive a bus through but get some good " no name actors " that work for love not money and can laugh at themselves and then let them ham it up on the fly and you'll get a lot better final product

I've seen some of the trailers for this. Kind of hard to tell whether it wil be good or not. She seems to be playing Kara as bubbly teen, all giddy about her powers while at the same time taking her role as a protector pretty seriously. Benoist is a good choice for an actress who looks like a teen, but her girlishness makes it hard to take her seriously when she tries to get all fierce and stuff.

Think I recognized Calista Flockhart in one of the previews, but that's it. It took Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. two seasons to find their pace, the question is whether they'll allow this show the same time to grow (assuming the creators/writers are worth a shit to begin with).

I have a feeling it will get cancelled before they can gain their following. Comic book people get ANGRY when things don't match the comic exactly. You would think they would like these shows, but I see so much complaining about the conflicts. :evillol

Oh yeah, we're the worst. You don't even want to get me started on what they've done to the X-Men :evillol
