Anyone have any help
I got it riped to my harddrive now I just cant get it up onto rapidshare |
My guess is that the file is too big for Rapidshare. How big is the file you're trying to upload?
|
says it is 6.90gb
|
The max you can upload to rapidshare at one time is 100MB or 1/10 of 1GB. MegaUpload will let you do up to 500 MB, but you would still have to split your file into 14 500MB sized files.
I've never done it before so I don't know if you can use WinRar to do it or not but I found this program that claims to be designed for file splitting. http://www.download.com/Fast-File-Sa...html?tag=lst-1 |
I have no personal experience with it, but perhaps BitTorrent would work ???
|
well the point of coming to this forum to DL stuff is to not have to deal with torrents and bit torrent programs.
You can set WinRAR to split the file. Choose RAR as the type and under that there will be an option drop down menu "Split to volume" - choose 100Mb zip. this will split the file at every 100 MB interval creating around 6 RAR files for you to upload to Rapidshare. The person will have to have ALL 6 files before unRARing. That should work. |
I eneded up doing that but it split it into 14 parts I think
Here is a screen shot I dont have the option of 100mb If you cant see it it says 3.5: 1457664 Zip100: 98078kb Cd700: 700mb Dvd+R; 4481mb Autodetect |
its the ZIP 100 option
|
Okay I am doing that right now and it is spliting it into 21 parts
I guess if you want the 33 videos of Garth Brooks you can download all 21 parts I probbaly will put this on megaupload. They dont have a wait time between downloads do they? |
