Fun Fact -I bought a copy of this edition, as I really had the thing for little Drew from Poison Ivy. Things of note - apart from Drews awesome boobie, the edition also featured a comprehensive list of sexual slang terms, including Felching, Fisting, among others. It's also the first time this brit had heard the term Donkey Punch

There was a rather moving articale about Brandon teena/Teena Brandon, the sad subject of the movie Boys don't Cry with Hilary Swank

But one thing that really stuck out was that nearly every coimedy cartoon panel was depicting something that would be regarded as horrifically racist by todays standards. Not even funny, just derogatory

Except for that last part there. Glad times have changed on that. It is weird how you can look back on things and be like how was that normal.

Moving out of the house to your first apartment and getting that Playboy subscription was a rite of passage back then. Easy to be nostalgic for that simplicity. The digital age is awesome, Madam even more so . . . but physical books, magazines, catalogs, etc., the tactile sensation of turning pages . . . guess I'm just an old fucker, I sorta miss that stuff.

Totally agree on the books and magazines. Love the smell of a new book and I believe a much better reading experience than on a Kindle

Asa Barber’s “Men” column in the magazine back then was worth the price alone.
