Workout Playlists

I just started to hit the gym again and was wondering what music you would recommend for my playlist. I am currently just using a generic dubstep/techno mix from Rhapsody.

I get into the metal when lifting but, it doesn't help me much while running/ interval training. I'll definitely add some Slayer to the mix though.

it all depends on your taste bubba. I hate house music, so listening to that shit would just make me angry.

When i used to run a lot i would always run to anything with a driving beat. A lot of chemical brothers and crystal method worked well for me.

Not sure what you are into but here are a couple of my current favorite songs from my latest playlist.

M83 - Midnight City

The Naked and Famous - Young Blood

Not sure if you're into rap but this song is the shit and gets me hyped as fuck! :D

Travis Barker Feat. Yelawolf, Busta Rhymes, Twista - Let's Go

And sticking with the Yelawolf... not sure if this is "workout" music though.

Yelawolf - Daddy's Lambo

That shit was awesome. Just finished a 5 mile trail run and can't wait to go lift. Definitely hyped me up.

What about some old school Queens of the Stone Age? Are you into it?
Here are some good songs that would be good for workouts.

Queens of the Stone Age - Regular John

Queens of the Stone Age - If Only

Queens of the Stone Age - Go With the Flow

Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows

I added the Qoft-SA to my gym day mix and that really worked well. I've noticed that it also depends on the day and my mood. Yesterday I was all about old Puddle of Mudd during my circuits.

I don't lift weights but if I did I would probably listen to a lot of Pantera ...it makes me aggro as fuck and want to rip someones face off  Perfect for getting through some reps of bench presses or something :D
