Celebs Being Hot For Events Of Fashion Week in NYC - Feb. 2013
 

Many events happened Wednesday February 6, 2013. We had The Heart Truth 2013 Fashion Show, the amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2013 Fashion Week, Wildfox Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show & Adidas NEO Label event at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Anyone else think it's lame that they start it midweek so they can drag it to Valentine's Day? News flash people, MadamMeow's (who lives not far from NYC) birthday is 2/10 and with that ALWAYS comes a blizzard. Hell, it's supposed to happen tomorrow.

February 7, 2013: The extravaganza continues. So far we have not much from the La Perla After Party at the Electric Room, the Cher Coulter Capsule Collection event, the Teen Vogue 10th anniversary party at Aeropostale, the Richard Chai Fall 2013 Show, the Kenneth Cole Collection Fall 2013 Fashion Show & an in between event on the street sighting.

Also, it is the calm before the annual MadamMeow birthday blizzard. Very peaceful and serene out. The snow has started and it will turn to rain before slamming these fuckers hardcore tonight. I enjoy the thought of all the Californians & Floridians who will not know what to do. I feel bad for the concierges in the hotel who will have to put up with tons of diva bitching.

Also, I like to think that everyone will get road salt on their $10,000+ gowns that cost about $3.50 cost to make. :)

February 8, 2013: The annual MadamMeow birthday blizzard proved to be a fluke. They got under a foot of snow and NYC typically cleans it fast. The events continued with the Project Runway Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show, the Christian Siriano Fashion Show, the Prabal Gurung fashion show and the Monika Chiang fashion show although they seemed to be snoozers.

Things picked up a little on February 9, 2013 with the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Fall 2013 Show, the Altuzarra Fall 2013 fashion show & the Bulgari Celebrates Icons Of Style: The Serpenti & the Max Azria Fashion Show, but not much.

February 10, 2013: My birthday wish didn't come true and nothing was halted. The DKNY Women Show, the Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2013 fashion show & the Thakoon fall 2013 Fashion Show kept it going.

Today, February 11, 2013, it still looks droll at the Carolina Herrera as well as the Kaufmanfranco, Donna Karan, Alice & Olivia By Stacey Bendet & the Pamella Roland fashion shows, but it's early so I'm holding out hope for something better. Nope, the next day there were some sightings at the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge, the Jenny Packham fashion show, the REVLON Sponsors Oscar de la Renta event and the badgley mischka show, but everyone seems to be tired at this point.

Wednesday February 13, 2013 had the Nolcha Show, along with the Marchesa, the Rachel Zoe, Michael Kors, J. Mendel & Proenza Schouler fashion shows.

Valentine's Day was the last day for the event. They tried to go out with a bang with shows from Calvin Klein & Marc Jacobs.
