Depends on the State you live in. Many states don't care what the age of the receiver/viewer/possessor is if the subject is under 18. Just a few weeks ago, two 15 year olds (boyfriend/girlfriend) were arrested for distributing and receiving child porn. The girl took naked photos of herself on her camera phone and sent them to her boyfriend. The boyfriend's employer found the camera, opened it to figure out who's it was and stumbled across the photos. Called the cops... The DA is not going for a plea deal. I know of at least 20 other incidents where "underage" didn't matter legally.

In the state I live in, anyone under the age of 16 can not consent to anything relating to sexual contact (includes kissing), nudity, etc. Between 16 and 18, the older party must be LESS THAN 2 years older than the younger partner. NO state has an unrestricted "age of consent" anymore. At five years difference it's considered a Class A felony. So, if the girl is 17 and born on Feb 10th, the boy/girlfriend can be no more than 19 but only if born before Feb 10th. Feb 10th or later and they are breaking the law.

Personally, as a father of a 14 year old daughter, I would hunt you down and make your life a living hell for even seeing the photos. Now, I also hope that my daughter has enough self respect to not need to take these types of photos in an attempt to keep a boy, I'm enough of a realist to know that might not be the case.

However, anyone passing the photos around with incur my wrath legally and in such ways that are not legal but would never be traceable to me.

One other point. You are walking a very fine line and may in fact have crossed it. You have seen these photos. You have not reported the possessor to the police. You are likely breaking the law and could easily be sued, even arrested. Hope this dude doesn't start naming names of who say the photos when he gets busted.

Just because you're 17, doesn't give you a free pass anymore.

I personally try to stay away from anything that looks underage... that being said it is getting harder and harder to tell...

so true. to me miley cyrus looks young, but not obviously underage. one thing i am sure about is that she knows how to behave like a complete tramp slut. she's about as sexually innocent as a street-corner hooker

i can understand that as a father you would be mighty pissed off, but would that 17 year old kid be the best person to blame? this is a totally hypothetical discussion, but parents in general love to pass the blame to anyone but themselves or their siblings. i think every bloke who reads these forums knows what it's like to be a 17 year old guy, basically you spend your life trying to stick your dick into anything. when a 15 year old girl behaves as cyrus has i blame it 50/50 on her and her parents. 50% goes to her for being a complete skank, and 50% goes to the parents for letting her turn into one. until a child reaches legal age her parents should accept responsibility for how she turns out rather than instantly pointing fingers
