My wife is Mexican. Before I met her, my Christmas' were pretty much like what everyone else described. No any longer. For us, Christmas starts about 7pm Christmas Eve. We have a little food out, but mostly, we get shithoused. I'm sure we should go to Midnight Mass, but we're usually too drunk to find a designated driver. At midnight, everyone opens presents and drinks some more. Most of my nephews on my wife's side drink all morning, the next day and all Christmas night. I can't do that any longer. I pass out about 2am, get up the next day and play Modern Warfare. This year, I should be play Modern Warfare II. I love Christmas.

This year, my fiance and I are having Christmas stocking for the first time.. both of us have never done this before.. we'll see how it goes. We always do christmas the same way... (@ my family or hers) eat dinner around 8pm, then we drink, @ midnight we wish each other a merry christmas and open gifts... drink some more, and then go to home. |
Every year I watch Charlie Brown Christmas, Grinch, and Rudolph and older versions of A Christmas Carol. I don't know why I still do it, but it's something I remember watching as a child and have done every year since.
