I'm looking for Dim Sum places to eat tomorrow and the reviews I'm reading on Yelp are not encouraging for joints in Seattle's International District. Way too much of your typical Chinese ambiance. You know, restaurants in an older part of town that are gritty, unkempt, maybe poor service with attitude and roaches. Goddamn I hate roaches. I haven't seen a fucking roach dead or alive in person for 23 years ever since I moved to this state and I want to keep that streak alive!

On the plus side there's one, in the U-District that's a chain from Taiwan that is clean looking and modern but I 'm not sure I want travel further north to have my fix on a limited day.

It's been a few years but the Jade Gardens was always great. Duk Li Dum was where a bunch of chefs used to go get late night beers and dim sum too.

Mike's Noodle House is great when it's on point and totally shitty if not.

Then hit up Best Asian Body Massage for a nice dessert rub & tug.

Yeah I was thinking about Jade Garden but the waiting in line would be brutal. Always heard about House of Hong but good reviews are a long time ago. Someone suggested Dough Zone in Bellevue but I don't want to travel to the East side.
