I don't really watch the NHL, NBA or MLB, so it's pretty much just football for me.
I like the Padres but they are blacked out by my satellite company and I'm not buying their baseball package.
I love the Chargers almost more than anything. Football is pretty much my life and I'm planning on getting a bolt on the back of my neck or my wrist if the Chargers find a stadium site in San Diego. Otherwise I might have the next Houston Oilers or Baltimore Colts scenario tattooed on my body.
Patriots get on my nerves and I hate the Raiders and Broncos.

The Golden State Warriors.
They are hands down the most fun team to watch in the NBA.

Huge Sports Fan.
Dallas Cowboys --- Born/Grew up in Highland Park, a suberb of Dallas.
Houston Rockets --- The Mavs blew when I was kid, so I picked up a nasty Houston habit.
Portland Trailblazers --- Lived in PDX since '93, so was really raised in Porltand. Blazers are the Future of the NBA BABY!
Oregon Ducks & Texas Longhorns --- for the above reasons
I live for the NFL Draft and the NBA Draft is not far behind. As far as baseball goes, I follow it, but I don't necessarily root for one team specifcally. I like the Cubbies, White Sox, and the Rangers for various random reasons. I actually liked the Cubbies because they were so shitty for so long it was hard not to like them. Like a special ed puppy or something. It just needed some extra attention. Not a Hockey fan. HUGE MMA fan (as most of the people on the board can attest to) and I have a ton of specific fighters I'm into.
I hate everything New York and Boston with a passion - - - So no Pats, Knicks, Sox or Yanks (Sorry Bleacher Creature). I also hate the Buffalo Bills just because my best friend loves them and I hate seeing my friends happy. I'm a downer, I know. :D

Since then, I really only watch OSU football. No, not that college who sued because it wanted to own the rights to "OSU", I'm talking the Oho State Buckeyes!

I think I made an MLB thread like this, but I'll reiterate..
MLB: The Marlins who've surprised everyone this year, including themselves, and will be in the WC hunt till the last month. Also, for some weird reason, I like the Atlanta Braves (I used to live in ATL growing up)
NFL: Sorry, sorry, sorry Dolphins. Hopefully Billy can sort us out in the next coupla years and we'll be back to contending in 5. I also like the Cowboys because I was born in Plano, and when I was growing up they did very well.
NBA: Who's worse: The Heat or the Fins? I'd say the Fins, but the Heat are my favorite franchise in sports...hence the name. However, this draft coming up can either ruin the direction of the team, or make it. The trade talks are concerning considering I think Riley may have lost his edge.
NCAA: Gotta go with my Gators, but I do like the Canes a lot, too, since I grew up in SoFla.

Very well said THESNAKE...........I really could care less about most sports but I am (as the name indicates) A DIE HARD New York YANKEE FAN.........been a partial season ticket holder for 5 or 6 years, in, of course, the bleachers of Famed Yankee Stadium. I am there every Saturday. There is nothing like it.
Here is a shot of my season seats when i sat elsewhere in the stadium

My #1 of all time: The Atlanta Braves!!!!!!
My dad took me to the very first game on April 12, 1966.
This is no shit...30 years later I take my soon to be wife who had just flown to Atlanta to visit( and get proposed too...hehe) and I take her to a game at old Fulton County stadium. We get a program and as we are reading it, she notices the first game ever played by the Braves and proceeds to tell me, "Hey, I was born that day!!!!!" How's that for Karma?
My close #2: HOW 'BOUT THEM DAWGS!!!!

Why the fuck would you choose to pay attention to the Pirates? So now I know there's at least 2 of us. Since I'm from Pittsburgh I at least have an excuse though. And that would make the rest of my favorite teams the Steelers and the Pens. I just started watching basketball recently and refuse to pick a team since the closest one to me is the Cavs and I'm not going to jump on the Lebron bandwagon.

I'm from Cincinnati, but the NFL and MLB teams here suck, so I have different favorites
NFL: New York Giants (Eli Manning rules; thank you, God, for letting them win
the Super Bowl)
MLB: St. Louis Cardinals
NBA: Boston Celtics (still miss the Larry Byrd days, though)
NHL: New Jersey Devils
NCAA Basketball: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Michigan Wolverines (sorry, all you OSU fans)
NCAA Hockey: Miami Redhawks
IHL Hockey: Cincinnati Cyclones
High School: Battle Creek Nimrods (yes, it is a real mascot for a real high
school in Michigan; and yes, I only like them because of the
name)

Pittsburgh Steelers, I'm a dedicated fan. I was born in the Steel City.
I love the Pirates, but it can be tough.
I became a Yankees fan also as a kid because their triple A team was here in Columbus and they used to come to town to play. I saw Derek Jeter play well before he went up.
Hockey, the Pens, of course.
I don't follow basketball.
College football, Notre Dame. My dad is a grad. I hate the Buckeyes!
MLB-- When I care, which is rarely, The New York Mets. Can't really watch baseball anymore, but goddammit '86 was a fun season.
NBA-- Phoenix Suns, loved 'em in the Barkley/KJ/Majerle days, stayed with them out of nostalgia.
NHL-- What's that?
And last but not least, the only reason to wake up on sunday, the NFL and The San Diego Chargers. Suffered thru more bad seasons and heartbreaking losses than I'd like but it's been worth every minute.
MEGADOUCHE

okay, i'll get ugly.
idaho, i luv ya, but THE CLEVELAND BROWNS are taking the division this year. no doubt.
Tribe-- 5 1/2 back. keep your eye on Casey. It's in my contract as a Clevelander to say a big FUCK YOU to New York and Boston.
Cavs--LeBron can take his Yankee's hat and go play for the fucking Knicks. Cleveland is not a basketball town.
NHL-- ????
Nascar--???? Try columbus.
NCAA--Buckeyes of course.

NFL- Da Bears!!! (Yes Grossman sucks)
NBA- Da Bulls!!! (1st pick Derrick Rose- even though I think Beasley will be a better pro)
AFL- Rush
NHL- Blackhawks and Redwings (I know there's a conflict but I still like the wings)
MLS- The Fire
English Premier League- Manchester United Red Devil's
That's all I can think of right now but I watch sports whenever a t.v. is on so I'm sure I'll think of more
