Yeah firefox was giving the same warning awhile back as well.

I got that warning when I logged in but it was just one of the sidebanner ads, which is what it was last time. Since the DSF has the banner ad, it gets flagged too.

The main page is trying to install something. I just went there and AVG lit up then blocked the connection.

I do, but every once in a while I get an AV alert that says dsf installed a "porn popup" and do I want to remove it.

My Norton doesn't. I get in and out clean. Well, I say clean, I do try to avoid Preds threads...

I don't think it is a virus, or anything harmful. I think it is a spammy thing, that tracks your clicks.

You'll want this theme then, it's darker and more broody. I'll see if we can get Tarantino or Burton to approve it for you.

Speaking of Chrome...

The wife decides to grab the Chemlawn door hanger off our next door neighbor's front door (they're in Vegas all week) and comes back with a sopping wet box too. Neither of us can believe that the UPS schmuck left it on the front porch considering we've had 5 days straight of massive amounts of pouring rain. Stuff that makes you got out every day and check the siding and roof.

We leave vmail on their phones saying that we're going to open the box to make sure nothings ruined. Not hard, because the box was falling apart it was so wet.

Guess what was inside?

OK, to slow. It was a brand new Chrome laptop. Turns out he put his name in to the "giveaway" about eight months ago and thought he wasn't selected for a free one.

WRONG. Sadly, I think it's fucked. Water actually poured out of the plastic wrapping around the device and also from the one around the battery.

Just sad. I guess the cloud isn't all it's supposed to be :)

You probably know this already but, don't turn it on. Put it in uncooked rice. Probably need a lot of it, but it works.

Yep, thanks though. I offered to do that (it's not my laptop) but my neighbor said to just let it air-dry. I guess since he didn't pay for it he's not worried about it.
